Music in the Frame

Music in the Frame offered ten young professional photographers the opportunity to spend time with three London orchestras. 

Music in the Frame gave ten young professional photographers the opportunity to shoot three London orchestras during rehearsal. 

A joint venuture between the Royal Philharmonic Society and IdeasTap, Music in the Frame worked with professional photographer Sim Canetty-Clarke who gave the group a masterclass at the start of the project and reviewed their work following the photo shoots. The photogrpahers worked in pairs and went to a range of London venues including the Royal Albert Hall and BBC Maida Vale Studios. 

The orchestras that took part in Music in the Frame were the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment

Between 7 - 20 February you can also see the photographs displayed in the window of the Schott Music Shop at 48 Great Marlbrough Street, London.
