The Royal Philharmonic Society invests in the future of music by encouraging and nurturing the next generation of talented musicians. 

Every year we relish the opportunity to showcase a selection of young musicians who have received our support, by inviting them to perform at one of our annual recitals.

RPS Young Musicians Recitals

In November 2013 the RPS held its first independent Young Musicians Recital, at the beautiful home of Sir Vernon and Lady Ellis in South Kensigton. Tickets for our annual Young Musicians Recital include pre-concert drinks, followed by the recital, on-stage discussion with the musicians and then a buffet supper, and the event is held in aid of our Young Musicians Programme

City Music Society Recitals

City Music Society was founded in 1943 by Ivan Sutton and has promoted over 2200 lunchtime and evening concerts in the City of London. Its six evening concerts per year are presented in the magnificent Hall of the Goldsmiths’ Company and, over the years, many of the finest musicians in the world have performed there.

Since 2006 the City Music Society has provided an annual platform for selected RPS Young Artists to perform a lunchtime recital in the City of London.
