RPS COMPOSITION PRIZES
AT A GLANCE: Professional commissions of £3,000 or £1,000, plus concert performances and workshops, for emerging composers.
RPS/DUET PRIZE FOR YOUNG COMPOSERS
AT A GLANCE: A £1,500 cash prize and a commission for professional performance to an outstanding young composer aged 18 or under.
ROSIE JOHNSON RPS/WIGMORE HALL APPRENTICE COMPOSER SCHEME
AT A GLANCE: A £2,000 RPS commission, apprentice-composer residency and mentoring opportunity at Wigmore Hall for an emerging composer (minimum age 18).
25TH BIRTHDAY COMMISSIONS FOR CLASSIC FM
AT A GLANCE: Arange of six commissions for professional performance and broadcast on Classic FM, for composers born on/after 7 September 1992.

DID YOU KNOW?
In October 1970, Lutoslawski's Cello Concerto received its world premiere, having been commissioned by the RPS. The soloist was Rostropovich, who received our highest honour, the Gold Medal, the same year.
