£30,000 for Instrumental Study Abroad

18 Jan 2013

We are now accepting applications for the 2013 RPS Julius Isserlis Scholarship, which offers up to £30,000 for a young instrumentalist to study abroad for a period of two years.

The scholarship fund was bequeathed by Cecilia Helen Northcote in the name of the Russian pianist, composer and teacher, Julius Isserlis. It is open to all classical instrumentalists of any nationality between the ages of 15 and 25, who are permanently resident in the UK. The winner will be awarded a £30,000 scholarship to study abroad for two years. Additional smaller scholarships may also be offered where appropriate.

The next closing date for this biennial scholarship is Thursday 14 March 2013. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to audition in London in early summer 2013. For more details and to download an application form, please click here.
