Musician Adam Steele finally took up electric bass at the age of 14 following a childhood surrounded by music. Progressing swiftly, he went on to study music performance and production at Paul McCartney’s LIPA Sixth Form College in central Liverpool from 2020-2022. During his time at LIPA, Adam made his mark on the local music scene as a choice sideman and found himself on the bill for BBC introducing at the Cavern, on BBC Radio and on streaming services. Looking for a new challenge, Adam then came to Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London to study jazz, and it was here that he began his journey with the double bass.
