Oboist Eleanor Granberg is currently studying for her undergraduate degree at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland under the tutelage of Peter Dykes. Eleanor grew up in London where she attended the Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama from 2020 to 2022. Alongside this, she was seated as 1st cor anglais and 2nd oboist in the Thames Youth Orchestra between 2019 and 2022.

Since attending the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Eleanor has had invaluable experiences such as playing in the Wind Orchestra and in the opera pit orchestra for Elena Langer’s ‘Four Sisters’. She has also had the opportunity to receive feedback in masterclasses from the likes of Philippe Tondre and Stephane Rancourt. Eleanor is very grateful to have received the RPS grant to acquire a cor anglais. The purchase of her instrument will enable Eleanor to progress towards her goal as an orchestral musician.
