Emily Ambrose is a Leverhulme Arts scholar in her second year at the Royal College of Music, studying with Emily Hultmark and Joost Bosdijk. Before joining RCM she attended the Junior Department of the Royal Academy of Music where she was taught by Jo Baillie Stark.

Emily was a member of the National Youth Orchestra from 2020-2022 and is currently enjoying the many orchestral opportunities available in and around London. She has performed solo recitals at venues including Budleigh Festival, Two Moors Festival, Norden Farm and the Savile Club, and plays with various wind chamber groups including a bassoon quartet.

Emily is very grateful for this support from RPS, which will help her develop her playing over the coming years.
