Paddy is currently studying timpani and orchestral percussion with Neil Percy and Simon Carrington at the Royal Academy of Music, where he was awarded a full scholarship by the ABRSM. He was previously principal percussionist of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and the Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. Paddy has also been awarded the 2023/2024 Philharmonia MMSF Fellowship for percussion .
