Poppy Helmer is a flautist from Brighton, now studying jazz flute at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. In 2018 Poppy joined the Tomorrow’s Warriors development programme, travelling by train every weekend to attend sessions led by the likes of Binker Golding and Gary Crosby. In 2021 she performed at the Queen Elizabeth hall as part of Tomorrow's Warriors' ‘Soon Come Orchestra’ and was later asked to play at both Cheltenham Jazz Festival and We Out Here Festival in their ‘Frontline’ ensemble.
