References

Written references from two musicians of standing (such as your music teachers) who are prepared to endorse your application must be sent by the referee to admin@philharmonicsociety.uk by the application closing date.

These references must relate to this 2020 Prize, and it is your and your referees' responsibilty that they arrive no later than midday on Tuesday 2 February 2021. Your application will only be considered upon receipt of up to date references.

If the application form page refreshes after you click submit, this means you have incorrectly filled in a field. Please take time to go back and make sure you have filled in everything correctly. Common application form errors are:

  • you have other characters such as brackets, spaces or plus signs in the 'Phone Number' field. This should contain numbers only.
  • you have exceeded the character count in a longer question.
  • there is a compulsory check box which you have not ticked.
