Abigail Pettican

2018 RPS Instrument Purchase Grant | Oboe

Abigail Pettican is a clarinettist studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with Nicholas Carpenter. After taking up the clarinet at the age of 8, Abigail joined the local Four Counties Youth Wind Orchestra. Once she has played in the Four Counties Wind Orchestra she obtained a place in the North Wales Youth Orchestra and the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Wales. At RWCMD Abigail enjoys the opportunity to play in large and small ensembles as well as having the opportunity to play other types of clarinets.
