Isaac Barrow

RPS Instrument Purchase Grant 2019 | £1,500 towards an Oboe

Isaac Barrow is going into his second year of undergraduate study at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, learning with Amy Mckean.

In 2014-19, he performed with the Suffolk Youth Orchestra directed by Philip Shaw and David Stowe, in which he played regularly in the Snape Maltings Proms seasons. As well as working with various ensembles in Suffolk, Isaac was also a regular cor anglais player with the Ipswich Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Adam Gatehouse.

Now based in Cardiff, Isaac is a co-founder of the Pneuma Quintet and has performed in orchestras at various venues around Europe including St. David’s Hall in Wales, Slovak Radio Hall, Slovakia, and the Menin Gate in Belgium.
