Aurora Orchestra celebrate their success at last year’s RPS Music Awards

Foot-pounding five-piece folk band Harry Oakwood (Millionaire) joins Aurora Orchestra for a concert inspired by journeys both real and imagined. New commissions from the winners of the 2011 BBC ‘Inspire’ Young Composers’ Competition sit alongside iconic works by Wagner and Copland, Julian Anderson’s dazzling Alhambra Fantasy; and original music by Harry.

This performance celebrates Aurora’s Royal Philharmonic Society Ensemble Award.
