Nominate now for the RPS Music Awards

23 Nov 2015

Each year, through its annual RPS Music Awards, the Royal Philharmonic Society celebrates outstanding achievement in music. Awards are made in 13 categories, each selected by an independent jury of leading music professionals, with winners announced each May at a glittering award ceremony at The Brewery in London.

This year, the society is looking for nominations from all over the sector that reflect the wide and wonderful gamut of fine music making in UK in the calendar year, 2015. Rosemary Johnson, RPS Executive Director comments:

The opening of nominations for the RPS Music Awards is always an exciting time for us. Taken collectively, the nominations always provide a fascinating snapshot of live classical music at its best from all over the UK, and they also shed light on the individual ways in which people are engaging in music – as passionate concertgoers, as participants, and as imaginative creators of brilliant events and initiatives that widen the understanding and appreciation of the music that we love."
