RPS Music Awards Presentation

06 May 2016

On 10 May 2016 we'll be celebrating the finest live music making in the UK.

The next Royal Philharmonic Society Music Awards will be presented at The Brewery - a historic venue in the heart of the City of London with a reputation for fine food and excellent service.

The evening will begin with a pre-dinner reception with sparkling wine and canapes from 6.45pm, which will be followed by the ceremony, dinner from the award-winning chefs at The Brewery, and lots of live music.

The RPS Music Awards are the UK’s most prestigious awards for live classical music. They celebrate the outstanding brilliance of distinguished musicians, composers and young artists and reward imaginative ways of broadening our understanding and enjoyment of music.

This year, groundbreaking opera director Graham Vick will deliver the keynote speech, while hosts Sara Mohr-Pietsch and Suzy Klein will be joined by Canadian bass-baritone Gerald Finley, who will present the lyres.

The dress code is glamorous but black tie is optional.  The Awards Ceremony will end at around 22:45 but the gallery bar will stay open until midnight. It’s a really great evening to catch up with old friends, meet new ones and to be inspired by vibrant and exhilarating music making.
