For over 35 years we have been the most influential organisation in the field of cultural travel, offering an unequalled range of tours and events focusing on art, architecture, music, archaeology, history, gardens and gastronomy. Pioneering and innovative, we have led the way with ideas and itineraries and by setting the benchmarks for customer service and administration.
We have over 200 tours and events in 40 different countries, and they range from study days to two-week trips. Rooted in knowledge of the destination and subject matter, our itineraries are original and imaginative, well-paced and carefully balanced.
Our series of 4–5 music festivals per year (branded as ‘Martin Randall Festivals’) bring together world-class musicians for private concerts in glorious historic buildings, many of which are not normally accessible. Admission to the concerts is exclusive to an audience of between 150–300 who take a package which also includes accommodation, flights from the UK and transfers, meals with wine, talks by a musicologist, tips and much else besides.
Indeed a key ingredient of all our tours and events are our expert speakers, who we select with great care. Their knowledge is unimpeachable but their ability to communicate their learning is equally important. Their brief is to enlighten and stimulate, not merely to inform.
We recently also expanded our range to include online talks, offering a taste of the scholarship you can enjoy while travelling with us.
