Kings Place is an iconic, award-winning arts and conferencing venue located in the heart of King’s Cross. Since opening in September 2008 as an entirely self-funded venue, it has enjoyed critical success for classical music, along with a wide range of art forms, including classical, opera, jazz, folk, world and contemporary music as well as dance, film, comedy, literature and spoken word. Kings Place has become synonymous with its flagship year-long Unwrapped series, and the annual Festival, held each September, supplemented by other curated series throughout the year. The result is a mix of eclectic, interdisciplinary and international concerts, with festivals highlighting the musical traditions of cultures from around the globe.

From 1819 the Society’s home was the Harmonic Institution built by John Nash in Regents Street. The building was destroyed by fire in 1830 and is now the site of a NatWest Bank.
