Brahms' spiritual masterpiece A German Requiem was first performed in the UK by the RPS in 1873. Today it is performed by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra under its chief conductor Vasily Petrenko and features world-renowned Welsh bass-baritone, Bryn Terfel.
