Encore is a collaboration between the Royal Philharmonic Society and BBC Radio 3 designed to give repeat performances and broadcasts of works by living British Composers which otherwise might be lost from view.
This concert features Nine or Ten Osannas by Anthony Gilbert which was premièred in 1967 and received its last know performance in 1987.
All Encore live performances will be broadcast on BBC Radio 3, and accompanied by events designed to encourage wider audiences and greater understanding of the music.
