Recorded at this year's Cheltenham Music Festival, this BBC Radio 3 lunchtime concert delivers a broadcast of BBC New Generation Artist, mezzo-soprano Kitty Whately, performing the premiere of Jonathan Dove's 'Nights Not Spent Alone' - a joint RPS/BBC Radio 3 commission for the New Generation Artists Scheme. Whately's performance of the set of three songs will be accompanied by pianist Simon Lepper, while the Armida Quartet, joined by the viola player Lise Berthaud, will also perform works by Florentine Mulsant and Dvorak in the same concert.
