The composers were three of six winners
of the 2016 RPS Composition Prize
for emerging composers. Over the course of the year the composers have worked closely with Philharmonia Orchestra musicians, the conductor, visiting composers and Music of Today Artistic Director Unsuk Chin, as a well as a programme of professional development opportunities run by the RPS.
This Composers' Academy concert is being recorded for release on NMC Recordings
. In partnership with the Philharmonia Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Society recordings will be available to download from the NMC website and internationally via online stores and streaming platforms.
