The Hub, Gordon Stephenson Building, Department of Music, University of Liverpool

Event Price: £15

This Spring, Royal Philharmonic Society Women Conductors will host its very first workshop in Liverpool, to reach aspiring conductors and music leaders based in Merseyside and neighbouring regions.

The Phase 1.5 workshop is for women who have undertaken some conducting tuition as part of their studies or professional development, and who wish to make conducting a serious aspect of their career. Participants will develop their baton technique and leadership skills with course leader Alice Farnham, and conduct a professional ensemble comprising string players from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.

If you're a dedicated musician who would like to try one of our workshops, you can buy an observer ticket for the final afternoon session to see if this experience would suit your interests.

To book an observer place, please visit the University of Liverpool website.
