Claudia Molitor

Chamber-Scale Composition

supported by Boosey and Hawkes in memory of Tony Fell

For an outstandingly imaginative and engaging chamber-scale work receiving its premiere UK performance.

Claudia Molitor – Fever

'Premiered by The Monochrome Project at Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, Fever is a 21st-century call for hope. Written for 8 trumpets and electronics, solo lines emerge like poetry from dense, shifting soundscapes. Both ancient and futuristic, timeless and urgent, Fever draws us into a mesmerising world. It’s a call to reconnect with each other and our fellow creatures – to find a way to live with our environment, not against it.'
