Sarah Lianne Lewis – letting the light in
'letting the light in is a reflection on new motherhood by Welsh composer Sarah Lianne Lewis: on navigating change, on balancing a career with caregiving, and on the impact this had on her disability. Deftly performed by Siwan Rhys, the subtle preparation in this solo piano piece creates a woozy, dreamy effect. Chinks of light welcome in a new day'.
