Multitudes – Southbank Centre
‘New this year, the Southbank Centre’s Multitudes celebrates the limitless scope and appeal of classical music. Resident orchestras and star artists like pianist Igor Levit conjured dazzling new experiences with artists from dance, theatre, art and film – including Marina Abramović, William Kentridge, George the Poet, and the acrobats of Circa. Remarkably, over 50% of the audience were new to classical music, keenly discovering its enduring resonance and worth.'
