We are pleased to share with you this exclusive insight into something that Royal Philharmonic Society Members are currently enjoying. We hope it may inspire you to become an RPS Member yourself. Find out more about how to join below.
Soprano Carolyn Sampson and pianist Joseph Middleton are a truly exciting act. In recitals and recordings that traverse a remarkable landscape of repertory, they have enchanted audiences and critics. You can listen to their latest acclaimed album here. They are the latest artists to open up their rehearsal process especially for the RPS, giving you an exclusive glimpse into the creative process, inviting you to be in the room as they prepare and refine songs old and new for performance. Following the event for the RPS on 21 September at St Clement Danes church on the Strand, we are pleased to offer you an opportunity to watch the video of the event, and gain a rare insight into the magic that goes into honing and shaping works for the concert platform.
Here, Carolyn and Joseph rehearse Hugo Wolf's Kennst Du das Land, and one of the Chansons de Bilitis by Debussy.
