Kelan Koenig is a drummer and percussionist studying popular music at Leeds Conservatoire. Kelan grew up in Essex and began gigging consistently from the age of 16 to crowds of 100 or more people. Since beginning his conservatoire studies, he has played sold-out shows with a plethora of bands such as Smiling Politely, Ludvik Langholm and Carmine. 

He approaches the drums in a thoughtful and creative manner, with an emphasis on experimentation and unique timbre. Recently, in collaboration with friends, Kelan has co-established the Radio Society at Leeds Conservatoire.
