Leo studies tuba at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with renowned tuba virtuoso Les Neish. Originally from Oldham, Leo was introduced to the brass band world during his time at Crompton House School, and he was a member of the National Youth Concert Band from 2023 to 2024.

Alongside his studies, Leo has extensive experience within the brass band movement, initially stemming from his time with Oldham Youth Brass Band, with whom he toured Belgium. He has since performed with championship-section bands including Derwent Brass and Skelmanthorpe Band, and continues to build his reputation as an emerging young tubist.
