Flautist Olta studies with Fiona Kelly at Trinity Laban. Born in Albania, she started playing the flute at the age of 11, and has since received specialist training in Albania, Italy and the UK. She was awarded the Cassal Prize for Woodwind during her studies at the Trinity Laban Junior Department as well as winning their soloist competition. She received the Pauline Hartley Scholarship and a Trinity Laban Scholarship in her first year of undergraduate study and is now supported by the Peter and Terese Harris Charitable Trust.

Olta has given solo and chamber performances across the UK, Albania and Italy, and is a prize-winner at several international competitions, including the Gold Prize at the Euterpe Music Awards and the First Absolute Prize at the Concorso Zuccotti in Florence. She has extensive orchestral experience, with both youth orchestras and professional ensembles, and appeared on flute and piccolo in the world premiere of Jonathan Dove's Uprising with the Glyndebourne Sinfonia as part of the Glyndebourne Learning & Engagement Programme.

Alongside her classical training, Olta enjoys exploring a wide range of musical genres and values opportunities for collaboration across different musical traditions, bringing this curiosity into both her solo and ensemble performance.
