Sacha studies Jazz Bass at Trinity Laban. Born and raised in South East London, Sacha began learning the violin and recorder from the age of four, then later the bassoon aged nine. In 2023, Sacha studied bassoon at Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts, before moving to London in 2025 to pursue studying Jazz. Sacha was accepted into the Jazz course at Trinity Laban and began studying upright bass with the great Scottish jazz bassist, Calum Gourlay.

From 2018 to 2023 he studied bassoon with Graham Hobbs at the Purcell School, in addition to studies in recorder, piano and jazz bass. During this time, Sacha performed at venues including Wigmore Hall, the Barbican and the Queen Elizabeth Hall as a member of chamber ensembles and school, youth and student orchestras. In sixth form he attended multiple masterclasses with the renowned bassoon professor Ole Kristian Dahl in both Germany and Slovenia.
