Seren Kapur is a cellist studying at Trinity Laban with David Cohen. She has been heavily involved with musical performance since a young age, including as part of youth orchestras, vocal chamber groups and many different bands on various instruments. 

Her extensive award-winning volunteer work includes music therapy projects working with the Tibbs Dementia Foundation alongside the Philharmonia. After performing by special invitation in the 2023 Bedfordshire Festival Gala Concert, she was awarded the prestigious ‘Swan Hotel Rose Bowl’ for the most outstanding senior musical performance of the entire festival. 

As a student at the Junior Department of Trinity Laban, she discovered a love for chamber music, and has since gone on to perform at Wigmore Hall with her newly formed quartet. Her musical interests extend across a vast range of genres including film music and jazz fusion, having recently performed publicly in many settings such as Wembley Arena as well as in recording studios as a session musician.
