Tristan studies double bass at Trinity Laban. He was originally self-taught on the electric bass, before switching to upright. In 2019, Tristan performed in the Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall as part of a workshop with Trinity Laban, and in 2023, whilst at college, he won the opportunity to play at Latitude Festival with his band. 

He also participated in Tomorrow's Warriors Summer School, with acclaimed bassist Michael Olatuja. These musical experiences inspired Tristan, setting him on his path to pursue music full time.
