Adriel started playing bass at 16, just after his GCSEs, and took up a vocational music course alongside other A-levels at sixth form. Adriel received a Grade 8 in GCSE Music and a Distinction* in his Level 3 Diploma in Music. During this time, he gained experience in gigging by doing a few small shows for his church and school, one notable performance being at a local show in which he played in the same lineup as British singer Anne-Marie.

He has kept himself busy during his studies at Trinity Laban, where he has taken up multiple opportunities to record and perform with many up-and-coming artists in London.
