Percussionist Catriona Duncan is a first-year undergraduate studying with Paul Philbert and Tom Hunter at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. This year, she has been involved in 15 RCS Projects including the Berlioz Grand Messe des morts side-by-side with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.

Prior to this, she studied at the RCS Junior Conservatoire from 2020-2023. During which, she won the Colin Currie Percussion Competition and was a finalist in Scottish Young Musicians Solo Performer of The Year. She has been a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland since 2022 and this Summer has also been selected to go to Berlin to promote and perform Scottish traditional music as part of NYOS Camerata.
