Double bassist Hadessah Nanjo is a second year undergraduate studying with Chris West at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Dance and Music. Hadessah began her musical journey at Bexley Music which propelled her into various development projects with the London Symphony Orchestra. Prior to conservatoire, Hadessah was Principal Bassist of the London Schools Symphony Orchestra.

She is currently a member of various ensembles including Odyssey Festival Orchestra, Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra and Chineke! Junior Orchestra; performing in venues such as the Barbican, Cadogan Hall, Fairfield Halls, Royal Festival Hall, KKL Luzern, Konzerthaus Berlin and Het Concertgebouw.

Recently, Hadessah joined the LSO Pathways scheme where she receives lessons from Tom Goodman. She is keen to continue exploring a range of repertoire and various genres as her musical career develops.
