Hannah McCallum-Benson is an undergraduate bassoonist at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, studying with Meyrick Alexander. She has just passed her first year with a First.

Hannah grew up in South West London where she was a member of Stoneleigh Youth Orchestra and Principal Bassoon of Thames Youth Orchestra. She studied Music A-Level at Tiffin School, where she was also a member of the school orchestra, concert band and wind ensemble. During her first year at RWCMD, Hannah has been a part of a bassoon trio and has also been involved in Repertoire Orchestra sessions conducted by David Jones.
