Samuel Bullamore Brown

Bass Trombone | 2024 Julius Isserlis Scholarship

A note from Samuel

I am honoured to have been selected amongst this years recipients of the Julius Isserlis Scholarship. With it I am planning to move to Bern, Switzerland to begin studying for a Master's degree at the Hochschule der Künste Bern with the renowned pedagogue Ian Bousfield. Moving to Switzerland has always been one of my dreams, and I look forward to immersing myself in a new culture.

I would like to thank teachers new and old, as well as the amazing Tewit Youth Band for providing me with my first trombone, and setting me on this incredible path a decade ago.
