Fergus Hall is writing a new work for The Hermes Experiment, as part of his place on the RPS Composers programme. This is the first chance to hear the work he has written, at Cafe OTO, Dalston.
Fergus Hall's creative practice is concerned with how a musician can act as a creative facilitator, constructing frameworks within which musical interactions can take place. Fergus is also active as a music educator, both teaching piano and as a conductor with the Inverclyde Music Service. You can read more about Fergus and his work on our website here.
Fergus is one of seven individuals we are supporting on the 2024 RPS Composers programme, giving each a commission and premiere with a noted ensemble, festival or venue, as well as a year of professional development which gives them the chance to meet industry experts and professional composers, furthering their confidence and skills to seek further commissions and premieres of their own. The RPS Composers programme is made possible by a range of trusts and foundations, and through the kind support of RPS Members.
You can find out more about RPS Membership and how you can help us support talented musicians like Fergus here.
