The Presteigne Festival takes place each August Bank Holiday weekend. Well-known for presenting a carefully balanced combination of new music, twentieth-century classics and masterpieces from the standard repertoire, the Festival also continues to develop a wide-ranging programme of supporting events which features film, literature and exhibitions.

This year, the Festival features the world premiere of 2023 RPS Composer Electra Perivolaris's Mastaha, as well as works by several previous RPS Composers: the world premieres of April 21st by Charlotte Bray and Last words of those long dead by James B Wilson. With a selection of music from this year's Festival composer-in-residence Roxanna Panufnik and a variety of talks and events covering a range of subjects, Presteigne Festival promises to be a weekend of musical innovation and artistic discovery.
