RPS Annual General Meeting 2025

Thu 15 May 2025, 6:30pm - 8:00pm

Swedenborg Hall, 20-21 Bloomsbury Way, London WC1A 2TH

We welcome RPS Members to get together with RPS staff and Trustees to reflect on the charity’s achievements of the year past.

This year’s AGM takes place Swedenborg Hall in central London, close to Tottenham Court Road and Holborn tubes. We’ll be joined by one of the most exciting young professional chamber groups right now: the brass ensemble Quartet Menine, recent recipients of the RPS Philip Jones Brass Prize. They’re a fantastic group worth discovering, full of personality and such musical imagination. They will perform a couple of favourite works and talk about the support the RPS has given them.

We will undertake the usual business of the AGM, sharing our Annual Report and revealing the musicians proposed to receive the RPS Gold Medal – with Members’ approval. RPS Members will receive the full ‘Notice of the AGM’ closer to the event. On the night, you’ll have the opportunity to talk to Quartet Menine, the RPS team, and to RPS Trustees.

If you’re an RPS Member, we invite you to let us know if you are coming using the form linked below, or by emailing us. RPS Members who cannot attend can still vote, using our proxy voting form: a link to this is being sent to RPS Members by email bulletin on 25 April. Please contact us if you are an RPS Member and would like us to email this directly to you.

If you’re not an RPS Member, we invite you to support the music and musicians you love by joining the Royal Philharmonic Society. Click here to discover more.
