Tasmin Little and Jennifer Pike – in conversation

Mon 29 Nov 2021, 7:15pm - 8:15pm

Swedenborg Hall, 20-21 Bloomsbury Way, London WC1A 2TH

A unique encounter between two of the nation’s most-loved violinists.

Tasmin Little was all set to retire in 2020 with a string of farewell concerts nationwide. Instead, she found herself becoming an ardent, outspoken advocate for all musicians, both in light of the pandemic and the startling lack of income they derive from streaming services. She talks about her remarkable year, and remarkable career, with Jennifer Pike – herself blazing as bright and creative a trail as Tasmin, since becoming the youngest ever winner of BBC Young Musician in 2002.

For everyone’s comfort, we are limiting capacity for these Autumn events. We continue to follow government guidelines closely. Hand sanitiser will be provided for guests to use if they wish on arrival. While it is not compulsory, we also invite guests to wear masks on arrival and when moving around the building, removing these if they so wish while seated for the event.
