About Natalie
'I am a composer and electronic artist interested in bringing acoustic and electronic sounds together in my music. I graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with a first-class degree in Composition and Creative Music Technology. I also studied at Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland and specialised in Live Performance with electronic instruments, specifically modular synthesiser, live spatialisation and coding.
Collaboration is central to my work, and I have explored this through my inter-disciplinary projects as part of The Flying Bedroom Theatre Company, and sound sculpture duo Tangible Lemon. My notable concert music works include writing for BBC National Orchestra of Wales, National Youth Guitar Ensemble Fellowship Ensemble, The Berkeley Ensemble and The Band of the Welsh Guards. In the world of theatre and film, I have composed for BBC 2 Wales’ PARKLIFE , The Royal Court Theatre x The Richard Burton Company’s Half Full and a new musical, On Yer Bike, commissioned for the 2022 Commonwealth Games. My electronic compositions include a 16-speaker dome installation displayed in Helsinki and a live immersive electroacoustic set, titled MINDSET.'
