Annual General Meeting

Every Spring, the RPS holds its Annual General Meeting: an opportunity for RPS Members to get together with the RPS Board of Trustees and management, and reflect on the charity's achievements and progress.

Central to this is the opportunity to share our Trustees’ Annual Report and Accounts with RPS Members, and for Members to approve any nominations for the prestigious RPS Gold Medal, and any appointments to the RPS Board of Trustees and advisory Council.

The AGM is also a chance for RPS Members to meet the Board of Trustees, management team, and other Members. After the main business of the AGM, this year we present ‘RPS In Conversation’ which you can read more about linked here.

The Annual Report is intended to give you a comprehensive picture of all the charity’s activities and our financial progress over the year. You can read the latest edition below, charting the financial year from September 2024 to August 2025.

Our next AGM takes place from 7.00pm to 8.15pm on Tuesday 12 May 2026 at the Waldo Williams Suite of Friends House, 173–177 Euston Road, London NW1 2BJ, opposite Euston Station. The Notice of the AGM – outlining the business to be addressed, and the usual matters requiring a vote – is posted below on this page.

If you are an RPS Member and would like to attend, please take a moment to complete our online booking form linked here.

Those who cannot attend can still vote, using our proxy voting form: a link to this has been sent to RPS Members by email bulletin on 24 April and through the Notice of the AGM posted below. The email to RPS Members also includes further details of this year's nominations by the RPS Board and Council for the RPS Gold Medal.

If you are an RPS Member but did not receive the email bulletin, or have any queries about the AGM or Annual Report, please do contact us at members@philharmonicsociety.uk or call us on 020 7287 0019 (weekdays 9.30am-5.30pm).
