RPS Music Award Nominations Open

We are now accepting nominations for achievements during the calendar year 1 January - 31 December 2013

The RPS Music Awards are the UK's leading awards for live classical music. There are 13 categories of Award covering the spectrum of professional music-making and including learning, participation, communication and audience engagement. Find out more on our dedicated RPS Music Awards site.

Nominations are invited annually from members of the Royal Philharmonic Society and official nominators from the music profession, who can log in here.

Humphrey Burton, first head of Music and Arts, BBC; founder/presenter of Young Musician of the Year and joint founder of the RPS Music Awards in 1989.


From 1819 the Society’s home was the Harmonic Institution built by John Nash in Regents Street. The building was destroyed by fire in 1830 and is now the site of a NatWest Bank.
