Presteigne Festival 2019 | New Work by Liam Mattison

We are pleased to announce that a new work by RPS Composer Liam Mattison will be premiered this Summer at the Presteigne Festival in Wales. The work was commissioned by the Society in 2018 as part of its annual Composition Prize, now known under its new name: RPS Emerging Composers.

Liam will write for percussionist George Barton and pianist Siwan Rhys, who will be performing the work alongside the following repertoire:

Gregory Rose Boudica (world premiere)
Luke Bedford Faraway Canons
Steve Reich Clapping Music
Mark David Boden Soliton (world premiere)
Joe Duddell Parallel Lines
