Hear Ruisi Quartet, winners of the 2015 RPS Albert and Eugenie Frost Music Prize, perform two quartets by Haydn and Ravel in the beautiful setting of St Bartholomew the Great as part of City Music Society's lunchtime recital series. The Quartet has quickly established a reputation as one of the leading British quartets of its generation, delivering performances that are 'strikingly immediate, committed and direct' (Chichester Observer, 2014). Founded in 2012 by brothers Alessandro and Max, the quartet performs regularly throughout the UK and Europe, including leading venues such as Wigmore Hall, Royal Albert Hall and King's Place.
