As part of its commitment to providing professional development opportunities for outstanding musical talent, the Royal Philharmonic Society has joined forces with Wigmore Hall to offer a commission and apprenticeship for an emerging composer.

NMC Release RPS Composition Prize Winners' Recordings

NMC Recordings are to release the work of three RPS Composition Prize Winners, Donghoon Shin, Lisa Illean and Gareth Moorcraft who were commissioned to write a piece for the Philharmonia Orchestra's Music of Today Series.

RPS Young Musicians awarded £91,000

Thanks to the generosity of a number of new donors the Royal Philharmonic Society has increased funding for its Young Musicians Programme this year and is investing £91,000 in supporting outstanding instrumentalists, ensembles and composers in ongoing professional development.
