A decade ago, I was one of the first participants on Alice Farnham's original conducting course for women and nonbinary people (then called 'Women Conductors @ Morley' and hosted at Morley College). My curiosity for conducting stayed with me through ten years of working professionally as a violinist. Finally, a spontaneous (and, happily, successful) application to the MA Orchestra Conducting Programme at the University of the Arts Berlin (UdK) in 2023 encouraged me to take the chance at making conducting a part of my career. 

Since then, I have conducted in concerts with the International Contemporary Ensemble, Brandenburger Symphoniker, Hradec Králové Filharmonie and the Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias (OSPA). Alongside lessons from Professor Steven Sloane and Professor Harry Curtis, I’ve taken part in masterclasses and workshops with Johannes Schlaefli, Marin Alsop and Peter Rundel. I was also a conducting fellow on the Britten-Pears Young Artist Programme 2024-2025.

In Spring 2025 I was part of the Jette Parker Young Artist Programme’s production of Telemann’s Pimpinone at the Royal Ballet and Opera, working as Cover Conductor to RPS Conductors programme alumna Peggy Wu. I have also had the privilege of assisting conductors including Riccardo Minasi, Nil Venditti and Trevor Pinnock. In October 2025 I was delighted to win first prize at the National Radio Television of Albania Nicola Zoraqi Conducting Competition in Tirana, and am very much looking forward to conducting prize-winner concerts in Switzerland, Italy, Bulgaria and Albania. This season, my first since graduating from UdK, I will also assist Eva Ollikainen at the WDR-Sinfonieorchester and take part in ProMúsica Murcia’s conducting masterclass with Nicolás Pasquet. 

Having had a taste of the RPS Conductors experience as a guest on a 2024 course, I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to be part of it in full, and grateful to Alice Farnham and the RPS team for their continued support of conductors.
