For an outstanding initiative, individual or organisation that practically engaged and set out to have a lasting impact on the lives of people who may not otherwise experience classical music, demonstrating the positive, empowering role it can play in society.

This year's shortlist for the RPS Impact Award was decided by an independent panel drawn from across the music profession comprising:

Carol Main – Founding Director, Live Music Now Scotland
Chris Bell – Learning and Participation Director, Britten Sinfonia
Naveen Arles – Conductor / Co-Musical Director, New Young Voice Collective
Sumita Menon – Programme Manager, The Multi-Story Orchestra
Suzanne Griffiths-Rees – Arts Development Officer, Arts Council Wales
