A new production for the 2023 Festival, Longborough Festival Opera present one of Donizetti's most-loved works.

The opera will be conducted by Alice Farnham, one of Britain's foremost conductors and the co-founder and artistic director of the RPS Women Conductors programme. The programme was Alice's idea in 2014, and since 2016 we have been working with Alice and a range of organisations to create more opportunities giving more women the means and the confidence to conduct.
